The original Laudium Baptist Church, which was planted by the Rev Chin Reddy in Laudium, Pretoria, closed down in 2012 after Pastor Alan Wainwright, who pastored the church from 2006 to 2010, left to focus on another ministry.
Amien Lincoln accepted the call by the Pretoria Baptist Pastor’s Fraternal in 2016 to restart the Baptist Church in Laudium, but had to leave for personal reasons.
Alan Wainwright’s ministry commitment at the other ministry came to an end at the end of 2017 and he accepted the call to restart the Baptist Church in Laudium under the new name of the Westpoint Baptist Church, which had its inauguration in May 2018. He is currently the pastor of the the church.
